IILE has received an application for conducting fire-technical and auto-technical expertise in order to determine the cause of a car fire.
IILE’s experts reviewed all the possible versions of a fire, such as: an external source of ignition, spontaneous combustion, careless use of fire, the occurrence of emergency modes of supply system  etc. However, based on the circumstances of a fire (time, the detection of residues of substances and materials that are prone to spontaneous combustion), these versions have not been confirmed.
IILE experts, taking into account the analysis of all possible versions of a fire, considered as the main version of failure the motor vehicle.
Analyzing and summarizing all submitted materials, as well as data obtained during the examination of an object, the experts concluded that the probable cause of a vehicle fire could be decompression engine fuel system.
